Jumping Into Cold Water

It’s been a little bit over a year and a half now, since I started my journey as a flight attendant. And right now I can say, that it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. I always dreamed of traveling the world and exploring places that inspire me. I wanted to meet people and learn about other cultures and ways of life. To be honest, it was kind of a 360° turn in my life, but sometimes jumping into cold water can be a pretty refreshing thing.

Round about 90 hours in the air, several different places all over the world and actually just little time at home per month. It wasn’t the easiest beginning, I have to admit. It’s a big change and you have to manage the little time you have for friends and family pretty well. It’s not always easy and not everyone understands and accepts how this life works. But when I look back on all the adventures and experiences I made already until now – from visiting the Cristo Redentor in Rio, going out in Tokyo or just sitting at the beach in Valencia – I wouldn’t change a thing. In retrospect it all made sense and I learned so much about myself and other people, even in this short time!

Stepping out of your comfort zone, leaving your save and comfy home from time to time and being open to all the possibilities life gives you, is not only eye-opening but also a chance to learn about yourself and becoming the person you want to be. There are so many beautiful places out there and so many interesting people one can learn from  – and the journey has just started! And I want you to join me on this exciting path. So, buckle up and enjoy the view.
