“She’s more beautiful, she is thinner, she’s got this handsome boyfriend, the job and life I want. She just gets it all.”
Well, if you never had thoughts like this, that life is greener on the other side, you’re probably lying. And it’s human. I’m not going to judge. Comparing ourself to others is something we just do. And eventually it’s not even a bad thing. It might challenge and motivate you. To become better and do more. But most of the time it just hits us. Like it hits me every once in a while. It’s something I was thinking about a lot lately. Something I’d like to change. Because it makes us feel bad. Makes us think about our lives as being a loser. But why do we let these things drag us down?

Maybe it’s okay to live different. To have another way of creating yourself, your life. To just live like you like it. Maybe we don’t even need all these things that happen to others to be happy. Would they make you a better person? Seeing the good things others have is easy, but being grateful for the things you have and are worth of takes practice. If you want your life to be great, just go for what makes YOU feel alive. Makes you feel inspired and worth it. Cultivate gratitude. It’s not about being perfect, but becoming better and better everyday. It doesn’t make sense to look for the greener side, because that is not you. I believe in fate. In life. If it should be, it will be. You just have to be you. Go out and show what you are capable of. Which is a lot! I also believe in positivity and that good things come to those who are doing good. Smile, shine and make others feel good. Why shouldn’t you?
